The TA-1D is a small and portable training altimeter. It is designed so its needle moves counterclockwise to simulate a descent rate of 1000 feet every 5 seconds (actual freefall time based on a terminal velocity of 120 mph would be 5.68 seconds per 1000 feet). It can be chest mounted and wrist mounted.
